What a wonderful, fabulous idea! Our community is a long-time overdue for a home to our visual and performing arts. This would give the arts community in Vancouver a place of permanence, and concentrate the local talents in one area to collaborate and take our Vancouver to the new heights!

Though no longer a resident of the Portland area, I think the Post Hospital could be a great place for Portland/Vancouver artists and art education. I suggest you look at the “Torpedo Factory” in Alexandria, Virginia. Transformation of the old munitions factory started in the early 1980s as studio space for individuals and art groups to rent space which they “improved” themselves.
