7.13.09 Oh, this sounds so great. Clark County is hosting a local food film festival (click for all the details) at Washington State University Vancouver on Friday, July 17, and at the County Public Service Building on Saturday, July 18. The films Good Food and Growing Awareness will be shown along with a sneak preview of Ingredients. The event is sponsored by the Clark County Food System Council.
Good things are growing locally…
Enjoy the harvest-
You can find me (in case you care–and I know you do) at a Lincoln’s Beard show on Saturday night, July 11, at The Grind Coffeehouse in downtown Vancouver, 611 W. 11th St. Part of a two-month-long exhibition put on by Guerrilla Media featuring local bands and art, the show is FREE from 7 to 9 p.m.
I love the rockin’ y’allternative stylings of Lincoln’s Beard, and I especially love that Guerrilla Media has brought its artsy awesomeness to the Grind — and to First Friday and Craft in the Village, where I met them last weekend.
Be there or, well, you know the rest…
